2007 Osaka Trip Day 3
Today we started with a bowl of ramen which is the most delicious among all in the trip:

After the ramen, we rush to the JR station to catch the express train to Nara 奈良.

The weather doesn't look good and it is cloudy most of the time. As there is no subway or train to the Nara Park, we take bus to the entrance of the Nara Park. Nara Park is famous for loads of wild deers walking sleeping and eating freely in the park, as if the park is their kingdom.

Except for the deers, Nara is a place that you can visit a temple, and then a monastery, and then a temple, and then a monastery..., and below are some examples:

After we get sick of the endless numbers of temple and monastery, we bump into a local festival called 月女祭. I totally have no idea what is it about, we there are loads of local people having their camera setup well before the event.

As the event is going to start at 19:30, we can't wait and we decided to get some souvenirs and get back to Osaka.
We want to a very local BBQ restaurant to have our dinner. The little old shop is run by a couples who are in their 40's and they are extremely nice and treated me a glass of Chinese 紹興 spirit, yes, my first glass of 紹興 in my life. (Wine is alcohol beverage made from grapes, and spirit is made from other ingredients)
